It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Jeannine (Benoit) Guitard wife of the late Delphis Guitard which occurred at the Villa Sormany of Robertville on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 72.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jeffrey and Laura (Dit Cathudal) Benoit.

She leaves behind her daughters: Chantal Boudreau (Steve) of Dunlop and Manon Lisa Butters (Aaron) of Ottawa, ON.

Four Grandchildren: Jonathan Lavigne, Karine Boudreau, Jolin and Janie Vienneau and Nolan Butters.

Nine sisters: Carmella (Rudolphe) Lavigne, Gilberte (late Louis) Aubie, Elizabeth (late Herald) Hussey, Antoinette (late Kenneth) Garrett, Evangeline (Cletus) Aubie, Thérèse (late Guildo) Lemieux, Noëlla (late Thomas) Couture, Jacqueline (late Leopaul) Lemieux all of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Our mother was a loving, kind and comforting. She loved her family and friends. She has beautiful blue eyes reflecting her tenderness. She has left us. Her time has arrived for her well-deserved rest, in the arms of Jesus. We love you maman. From your daughters, Chantale and Manon.

She was predeceased by her daughter Carolle Vienneau and her sister Jeanette Fournier.

There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday February 23, 2023 at 3p.m from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Jeannine may be made to the Villa Sormany or a charity of the donor’s choice.
