It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ronald Pacaud of Bathurst and formerly of Pabineau Falls, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Saturday November 18,2023 at the age of 83.

Born in Parkdale, Ontario he was the son of the late John Arthur and Elizabeth Bernadette (Chaput) Pacaud. Ronald worked for the City of Toronto and retired in Bathurst in 2000.

He was predeceased by his wife Sheila (Hachey) Pacaud, his daughter Rosemarie Pacaud, brothers Jerry and Richard and sisters Jeannine Dimech & Clair Xerri.

He is survived by his daughter Cindy (late Ian) Pacaud of Bowmanville, ON; sons John (Marianne) Newcastle, ON, Michael of Bathurst and Ronnie of Toronto. 13 grandchildren; Justin, Ashley, Meghan, Diana, Juliet, Ryan, Jovannah, Tyler, Jordan, Thomas, Richard, Adam and Sarah. Two great grandchildren; Jacob & Xander. His partner Rita Dempsey.

Two brothers; David (Linda) Pacaud of Marmora, ON and Bobby (Shanda) of Vancouver, BC. Two sisters; Terry Lalonde (Réne) of Montreal P.Q and Charlene McBride (late Jim) of Midland, ON. And several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral at Elhatton funeral home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 9th, 2024 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral.
