Bathurst – Willard Guignard, husband to the late Jeanne (Thériault) Guignard, formerly of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday November 19, 2023, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 92.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Ludger and Ella (Paulin) Guignard.

He is survived by two sons: Jean-Claude Guignard (Dawn) and Michel Guignard (Melissa) both of Red Deer, AB

Two daughters: Opal Lavigne (Guy) and Monique Doucet (Gilles) both of Bathurst.

Five grandchildren: Eric, Jérémie, Mélanie, Julian, Elyssia and five great-grandchildren: Janelle, Arielle, Audrée, Zacharie and Everlee.

Two brothers: Elzear Guignard (Barbara) and Victor Guignard (Paula) both of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Léona Lavigne and Marie LeBlanc both of Bathurst and Regina Lavigne of Hamilton, ON.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
