Salmon Beach – Elwin Clouston, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Monday December 18, 2023, after a brief illness, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 70.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Murray Clouston and the late Edna (Jago) Clouston.

Besides his father of Bathurst, he is survived by two children: Troy Moses of Ottawa, ON and Amanda Clouston (James Good) of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren.

A special friend, Annette Pitre.

Two brothers: Lester (Peggy) and Dale (Isabel) both of Salmon Beach.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his daughter Natasha.

Elwin was a member of the Lodge St. John, No. 27, F&AM of the Masonic Order, the Shriners and was retired from NB Power.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

In memory of Elwin, donations may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund or a favorite charity.
