It is with a heavy heart that the family of Susan Hachey, beloved wife of Denis Hachey and mother of Vanessa Robichaud, announces her sudden passing at the Moncton Hospital on June 2, 2024 at the age of 65.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Melinda (Vienneau) Branch and the late Beverly Branch.
In addition to her husband Denis and daughter Vanessa (Chris), she is survived by her pride and joy, her grandson Noah.
Her remarkably full life will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Ann Arseneau (Ron) of Rough Waters and Lee Branch of Bathurst, as well as many beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Susan is also survived by many wonderful friends who loved her like family.
Susan lived a life filled with love, compassion and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm and found joy in the everyday moments with her family and friends. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Susan's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
The family would like to thank Dr. Adams and all the nurses and staff at the Neuro ICU at the Moncton Hospital for their dedication and kindness when it was needed most.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Susan's funeral will be held at Holy Family Church in Bathurst on Friday, June 7 at 11:00 am.
Donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the Canadian Brain Injury Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
