It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette Blanchard, from Bathurst, and formerly of Dalhousie which occurred on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family, at the age of 84.

Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of late Gerald Blanchard and late Mabel Allain.

She is survived by her sons Jean-Pierre (Natalie) and Michael (Sue), grandchildren Maryse and Mathieu (Gabrielle), brothers Raymond (Mary), Richard (Marie-Ange) and sister Linda.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert, and her siblings Gerald, Normand and Norma.

Jeannette was a retired schoolteacher who enjoyed travelling, camping, spending time on the beach and with her family.

There will be no visitation or funeral as per her wishes.

In memory of Jeannette, a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
