Mrs. Carmel Lanteigne of Rough Waters Dr. Bathurst which occurred March 18, 2004 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 82. Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of late Joseph and late Martina (Boudreau) Chamberlain. Her husband Rhéal Lanteigne died in 1999. She is survived by two sons, Yvon (Lise), Beresford and Paul (Madeleine), Dunlop; two daughters, Denise (Marc) Robichaud, Bathurst and Pierrette (Roger) Brideau, Bathurst. Two sisters, Clothida Chamberlain of Bathurst, Angela Green, Fredericton . One brother, Cléo (Imelda) Chamberlain, Bathurst. One sister-in-law, Corrine Chamberlain of Bathurst. Six grandchildren, Jeff, Eric, Chantal, Karine, Céline and Jean-Rhéal, one great-granddaughter, Sacha Lyne, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Cyprien, Benoit and Jean. The body is resting at Elhatton Funeral Home Friday March 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday for 2 hours prior to the service. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Rough Waters Dr. Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
