Bathurst – Oswald “Ozzy” Laffoley, 85, of King Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (March 21, 2010) at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of late Henry and Cecile (Chiasson) Laffoley.

He worked as a Plumber for most of his life.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Laura (Doucet) Laffoley in 2007.

He is survived by:

Two sons;

Claude Laffoley (Linda) of Ontario

Roger Laffoley of Bathurst

One brother:

Harold Laffoley (Rita) of Ontario

One sister:

Florence Godin of Quebec

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by 8 brothers and sisters; Walter, Clifford, Clarence, Muriel, Marion, Lena, Clinton and Francis.

The body will rest after 2 pm on Tuesday at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (March 24, 2010) at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
