Bathurst - Shirley Nowlan, 61, of Vanier Blvd., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (May 6, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Alphonsine (LeBreton) Young.

She is survived by:

Gordon (Michelle Frenette) of Oshawa, ON

Richard (Coral Nickerson-Caron) of Calgary, AB

Chris (Joan Noël) of Bathurst

One brother:

Gordon Young (Blanche) of Bathurst

Two sisters:

Sally  Ellis (Francis) of Cardigan, PEI

Theresa Young of Bathurst

2 grandchildren; Josh & Rachelle, several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (May 10, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from noon until time of Funeral.  Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Candian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
