Bathurst – Mrs. Alma Daigle, 74, formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Friday (June 11, 2010) at Dalhousie Nursing Home. 

Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Bridgette (Pitre) Gauthier.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband; Edmond Daigle and her second husband; Michel LeClair.

She is survived by:

One daughter:

Linda Gauthier (Eric Jones) of Bathurst

One granddaughter; Guylaine (Jason Russell)

Four brothers:

Frederick “Freddy” Gauthier (Yvette)

Stanley Gauthier (Florida)

Aldon Gauthier and

Aurele Gauthier (Irene) all of Bathurst

Five sisters:

Alice Doucet (Fredéric),

Bertha Doucet (John),

Martha Hudon,

Beatrice Robichaud (Percy),

Yvonne Picot (Aldor) all of Bathurst

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday (June 15, 2010)at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave
