Poirier Subdivision, NB - Arnold Watson, 71, of Poirier Subdivision, passed away on Wednesday (October 10, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a lenghty illness, surrounded by his wife and family.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Doucet) (White) Watson.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Thibodeau) Watson.

One brother, Roman White (Marjorie) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers: Ronald White and Ralph White.

His passion in life was baseball and softball as a player and as an umpire.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (October 15, 2012) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Arnold may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
