1923 - 2015

Bathust - Mrs. Dorothy Babin, wife of the late Aurele Babin of Queen Elizabeth Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Monday December 7, 2015 at the age of 92, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Agnes (Young) Lavigne.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan (Don) Wheaton of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Shelley and Mark; four great-grandchildren: Anna, Kate, Thomas and Jack.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Donald and Benny; four sisters: Muriel, Gladys, Freda and Vera.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning December 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donors choice.
