1918 - 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Thyrza Humphreys of Bathurst (affectionately known as "Ted" to her family) passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.  Born in Bathurst, N.B., she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys (Caie) Ronalds.

She is survived by her brother, Arlice Ronalds,  of Bathurst.

Eight nieces and nephews:  David Ronalds,  Fenton Smyth,  Sandra Boone,  Shirley Smyth,  Byron Ronalds,  Sharon Hamilton,  Leigh Ronalds and Kim Knowles,  as well as ten great nieces and nephews and twelve great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters: Sadie Smyth and Verna Watling as well as two nieces: Judith Watling and Karen Ronalds.

Visitation will be held at First United Church, St. Patrick St. Bathurst on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 4:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Thryza can be made to the Perpetual Care Fund for the United Church Cemetery Bridge St. or a charity of the donor's choice.
