1932 - 2016

Bathurst - Fred Leet, 83, of Notre Dame St., Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Friday January 29, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Freeman and Febé (Legacy) Leet.

He was a loving husband to Rosalie (Vienneau) Leet; father of Stephen (Francine) of Bathurst and Cletus (Theresa) of Moncton. Grandfather of Sandra, Justin, Caroline, Jennica and Gentry.

Daughter-in-law, Annette Leet of Bathurst.  One sister, Joan Aubie (Alphée) of Bathurst.  Sister-in-law, Jeannine Leet of Big River.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Blair, daughter, Anne Marie, sister, Florence Godin (late Hector) and a brother, Freeman "Junior".

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning February 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Fred may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
