1939 – 2016
Bathurst - Leopold "Bugs" Duguay formerly of Bathurst, passed away Tuesday February 2, 2016, at the age of 76, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de- Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Basilice (Larocque) Duguay.
He worked for General Motors for 23 years until his retirement and prior to this he worked in the 1950’s & 1960’s at the former Bathurst arena.
Besides his wife, Rachel Hachey, he is survived by two sisters: Laurette Duguay and Rose Marie Blanchard (Ernest) both of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by five sisters: Alma, (1958), Irma (2004), Emerentienne (1995), Josephine (infancy), Rita (2014); three brothers: Leopold (1938), Gerald (1972) and Wilfred (2014).
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated at a date and time to be announced this summer.
