1957 - 2016

Bathurst - Daniel Lavigne of Roche St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2016, at the age of 59, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Toronto, Ont., he was the son of Patricia (Roy) Lavigne and the late Robert Lavigne.

He was a welder by trade in the mining industry.

He is survived by his six children: Dana Lavigne, Jena Lavigne, Jeffery Lavigne (Emily Vienneau), Danielle Lavigne, Joey Lavigne and Brianna Lavigne, all of Bathurst.

The loving mother of his children, Donna Henry of Bathurst.  One granddaughter, Marissa Jada.

Four brothers: Michael Lavigne (Desneiges) of Big River, Edward Lavigne of Bathurst, Leonard Lavigne (Gloria) and Thomas "Tommy" Lavigne (Line) both of Elliot Lake, Ont.  

Two sisters: Stella Lavigne (Daren Doiron) of Sarnia, Ont. and Mona Ryan (Terry) of Saint John, NB.  Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
