1933 - 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Frances Melanson, wife of William "Billy" Melanson, of Church St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2016, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 82.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bella (Lavigne) Aubie.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children:  Randy (Brenda), David (Rachelle Doucet) and Janice Noël (Brian) all of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren: Jimmy-Dean, Cory, Ryan and Lori.

Two sisters:  Florence Pinette and Genevieve "Genny" Aubie, both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by three brothers: Clifford, Rudolph and Raymond.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon May 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst. 

The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
