It is with great sadness that we the family wish to announce the passing of Vincent J. Noël, 92, husband of Raymonde (Poirier) Noël, of Donald Avenue in Bathurst, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Emma (Hebert) Noël.

Vincent was employed at the former Stone-Consolidated paper mill for 30 years. Also, he worked for the City of Bathurst for 10 years until his retirement.  He was a Veteran with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII.

Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn one son, Roger Vincent Noël (Stéphane) of Brossard, QC.

His sisters: Emma Noel of Bathurst, Georgette Savoy (David) of Bellows Falls, Vermont, USA and Anita Hartmann of Neversink, NY, USA

Many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Gertrude Noel.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, 2017 from the Sacred Heart Cathedral at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home of Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
