It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Noble, which occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst at the age of 71.
Born in Port de Grave, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Lillian (Upshall) Kennedy.
She was an active member of the EvangelPentecostalChurch. Betty had a passion for special needs individuals and was instrumental in the establishment of the Laurier Residence, owned by the Nepisiguit Residential Services Inc. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing the piano and crocheting. Most importantly her joy came from caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, David of 50 years; her two children: Chris (Shandy) and Joanne both of Bathurst; her grandson, Cole; two sisters: Nellie Strobridge (Clarence) of Pasadena, NF and Carol Ann Kennedy (Bill Bartlett) of St. John’s, NF; four brothers: Charles (Judy) of Pickering, ON, Jacob of Cove Point, NF, George (Pansy) of Conception Bay South, NF and Gary (Judy) of Clarks Beach, NF. Several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy and a brother, John.
Funeral service was held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at EvangelPentecostalChurch, Basin St, Bathurst.
