Albena (Bina) Forbes

It is with great sadness that we the family of Albena (Bina) Forbes announce her passing at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, on June 21, 2017 at the age of 92.

Originally from Bathurst, N.B. she moved to Nova Scotia at the age of 19.

She is survived by  two sons: Albert (Rita) Forbes of Cornwall, P.E.I. and Ralph (Monica) Forbes of Westmount, N.S. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also by four sisters: Geraldine Poisson of Windsor, Ont., Angelina Bartinski of Sprague, Man., Lydia Brown of Steinback, Man. and Emilia Dorion (Randolph) of Bathurst, N.B. and one brother, Omer Couture (Rose) of Windsor, Ont.

She was predeceased by her husband,  Lloyd; her parents: Alexina (Hache) Couture and Albert (Abbe) Couture.

Funeral was held on June 29, 2017 at S.W. Chant Funeral Home in Syndney, N.S.
