It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Linda Drouin Lapointe, formerly of Lorne, NB which occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, NB, at the age of 62.

She was the daughter of the late Densmore and Ida (Bennett) Payne.

She is survived by three children:  Mark (Linda Masson) Drouin of Alberta, Michael (Colleen Anne Andrews) Drouin of Halifax, NS, Matthew (Veronica) Drouin of Pabineau First Nation and three step children:  Nenette Lapointe, Antoinette Lapointe and Ronald Lapointe and many grandchildren.  Two brothers:  Wayne and Eric.  Three sisters, Laura, Tilly and Barb.  As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rheal Lapointe and her sibling, Charles.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon, September 13, 2017 at 3 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the M.S. Society of Canada or a favorite charity.
