Big River, NB – William Boucher, 72, of Big River, passed away on Friday February 2, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Everette and Exilda (Duguay) Boucher.
He was a retired carpenter and was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1935, Bathurst.
He is survived by four children: Jerimiah (Sue) of British Columbia, Saul (Sherri Dixon) of Calgary, AB, Mathew of Edmonton, AB and Mary Faith Boucher of Vancouver, BC. Five grandchildren.
Three brothers: Everett Boucher Jr. (Sharon) of Wawa, ON, Daniel Boucher (Betty) and Richard Boucher all of Bathurst. Three sisters: Ethel Gray (Earl) of Scarborough, ON, Laura Adams (Peter) of Vancouver, BC and Arlene MacDonald (Adrian) of Pickering, ON. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a sister, Anne-Marie and a brother, Roger.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday February 7, 2018 from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of William may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
