Ronald Lavigne, 71, of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2018, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
 
Born in Bathurst, he was a son of the late Allan Lavigne and late Gloria (Hachey) Lavigne.

He was retired from the former Smurfit-Stone Container Paper Mill.

He is survived by four brothers: David of Kitchener, ON, Brian (Colleen) of Trail, BC, Wayne (Mary Anne) of Kitchener, ON, Gary (Lianne) of Chelmsford, ON.

Four sisters: Lorraine (Norman) Ibbitson and Brenda Frenette both of Ste Anne, Glou. Co, Elda Anne (Pinky) Jenner of Trail, BC, Patsy Roy (Roger) of St. Albert, AB and Wendy Wagner (Larry) of Kitchener, ON.  

One half-sister, Bertha Daigle (Cerice) of Bathurst.  

His special friend, Edna Good of Bathurst. 

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother Paul.
 
Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) St. George St, Bathurst.  Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday May 19, 2018 from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Ronald may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
