Bathurst – Evelyn Carter,75, formerly of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Gertrude (Sawtell) Carter.

She is survived by one brother:  Milton A. Carter of Scarborough, ON.  One sister, Jessie Carter of Bathurst.  One niece, Pauline Barter of St. Stephen, one great-niece and one great-nephew.

She was pre-deceased by four brothers; Donald, Robert, William, Charles and three sisters; Harriet, Helen and Carol.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 3, 2019 at  11 a.m. from St. Georges Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
