It is with great sadness the family of Barbara Chamberlain of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, announce her passing on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst with her family at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 70.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Puis and Mabel (Roy) Roy.

Barbara was greatly involved with the Union Hall’s Children’s Wish Foundation dart shoot over the past twelve years.  She was a strong believer in fulfilling sick children’s wishes.

Besides her husband Bernie, she is survived by one daughter, Tanya (Etienne) Morrison, one son Troy Anderson both of Bathurst and a granddaughter, Aniston.

Two brothers, Lionel Roy (late Carmen) of Beresford and Donald Roy (Linda) of Trenton, ON. 

She was predeceased by a sister Isabella Knowles.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening from 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com).  Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 am from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel. 

Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
