Beresford - Gilbert Vienneau, 86, formerly of Rough Waters and Beresford, passed away on Monday March 30,2020 at the Foyer Villa Sormany in Robertville.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Abbey and Delima (Blackquiere) Vienneau. 

He was a retired carpenter. 

Besides his wife Doris (Chamberlain) Vienneau of Beresford, he is survived by one daughter Susan Arseneau (Roger) of Bathurst. 

Three sons: Gary (Lisette) of Bathurst, Danny (Maggie) of Ontario, Steven (Mylaine) of Bathurst. 

Six grandchildren: Stacey, Amber, Aron, Adam, Zackary and Isabelle.  One great grandchild: Raya. 

Two sisters: Blanch D’Entremont of Moncton and Terry Gaboury of Ontario. 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was pre-deceased by one brother: Clifford, and three sisters: Irene, Rita, Janette. 

Gilbert was a 4th degree member of the Msgr. Wheton Assembly 0615 Knights of Columbus in Bathurst for many years. 

There will be no visitation at the Funeral home, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Name of Jesus Church in Beresford at a time and date to be announced.
