Bathurst - Medard Theriault, 84, formerly of Sainte Anne St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday September 18, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. 

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Winniefred (Duguay) Theriault. 

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Ruby (Richard) Theriault. 

He is survived by four sons: Gary (Donna) of Big River, Paul (Brenda) of Miramichi Road, Norman (Patsy) and Danny both of Bathurst.  

Three daughters: Darlene Coombs (Gary Couture) and Claudette LaPointe (Jarvis) both of Bathurst and Debbie Pitre (Michel) of Beresford.  

Fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren. 

Two sisters: Cloris Frenette and Maria Theriault both of Bathurst. 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by a son, Roger, a great-granddaughter Rebecca, brothers: Edgar, Wilfred, Aurèle and two sisters: Jean and Thérèse. 

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Church by invitation only.   Donations in memory of Médard may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
