It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Carol Underhill, 74 of Craig Ave, Bathurst which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, on Friday, December 11, 2020.  

Carol worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for 19 years retiring in 2006. 

Born in Chatham, NB she was the daughter of the late James and Emerentienne “Mary” (Losier) Landry. 

Carol is survived by her loving husband, David Two sons: Bradley (Sophie Noel) of Bathurst, NB and Gregory (Teena Malone) of Kitchener, ON. 

One brother, James Landry (Paul Chiasson) of Moncton.

Sister-in-law, Nin Landry of Miramichi.

Two nephews and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother Joseph.

Carol was a kind and gentle person who embraced life to the fullest. Carol was always ready to share a laugh or offer words of encouragement and support to others. She was passionate about cooking and baking and was always seeking and sharing recipes.   

Carol was a very fit person, who played pickleball up to six times a week both in Bathurst and while in Florida. She was an amazing person who always had a very positive outlook on life.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Due to Covid restrictions, a funeral will take place in the spring with details to be announced at the time.   Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, NB.
