Bathurst - Brian Pitre, husband of Christine (Cormier) Pitre, of Currie St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday December 26, 2021, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 71.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late David and Eveline (Pitre) Pitre.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Naomi Pitre of Bathurst.

One granddaughter, Willow Amelia.

One brother, Donald Pitre of Bathurst.

Two sisters: Linda Pitre and Marie Pitre both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a sister, Pauline.

There will be no visitation or Funeral Service. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Da, you were loved by many. Always smiling wherever you’d go. I know how hard you worked; I also know how much you loved it. I’ll miss our summers together down at the drag races. I’ll forever cherish those memories. My heart is not ready, I don’t think it’ll ever be. Just know you’ll forever be in my heart and everyone you touched on your journey called life.  Love Naomi
