It is with sadness the family of Weldon Hachey announce his passing which occurred on Monday February 15th, 2022 at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes at the age of 81.

Born in Nigadoo, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (O’Connell) Hachey.

Besides his spouse Germaine Godin, he is survived two sons: Weldon Jr. and Rick both of Barry, ON and Brenda McKenzie (Daren) of Barry, ON. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He was predeceased by his sister, Helen and six brothers: Grant, Aurèle, Gerald, Eloi, Mike and Nicholas.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Weldon may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
