It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ms. Laura Lee Wood, on May 11th at the age of 57, in Ottawa. Daughter of Deward Wood and the late Betty Wood, and sister of Steven Wood; she is survived by her daughters Émilie, Maxine and Sophie Longtin.

Laura had a vivacious personality and made friends through every interaction. She loved to travel, and on any occasion, you would find her dancing, whether in the kitchen or on the dancefloor. She will always be remembered for her optimism and strength.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 26th at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Masks are required to attend the service.
