With the celebration of a life well lived, we the family, announce the passing of Ernest A. (Ernie) Marsolais husband of Denise (Valcourt) Marsolais of Bathurst, which occurred on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 83.

Born in Cornwall, he was the son of the late Hermidase Marsolais and the late Alice (Perkins) Marsolais.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Jody (Maria) Marsolais of Cornwall, ON, Henry Jeanveau, Brian Marsolais (Diane), Jefferey (Chantal) Marsolais all of Sudbury, ON and Crystal Marsolais (Michel) of Bathurst, NB.

He also leaves to morn his grandchildren: Danielle, Shane, Cheryl, Kevin, Samantha-Jo, Matthew, Casey, Erika, Kyle and Heaven, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ernie was the last living member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he is now resting in peace with a son, Danny, grandsons: Corey and Dustin and his brothers and sisters.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. In memory of Ernie, donations maybe made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
