With celebration of life well lived we, the family, announce the passing of Lawrence Hachey, 89, of Bathurst, which occurred on Sunday September 18, 2022 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

He was the son of the late Maurice and Kathleen (Thibodeau) Hachey.

He leaves behind his wife of 66 years Esther Hachey (Driscoll).

His four children: Wayne (Gisele) Hachey of Bathurst, Debbie (Daniel) Hachey of Moncton, Alice (Marcel) Bryar of Big River and Michael Hachey of Bathurst.

Five grandchildren: Danika, Kaitlyn, Scott, Dawson and Opal.  Great grandchildren: Mya and Amy.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Joseph Hachey. His siblings: Wilbert, Junior, Gordon, Clifford, Lillian, Dorothy, Wanda and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for all the care given the Lawrence. Donations in memory of Lawrence may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
