It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Roger Doucet of St. Zotique, Quebec. He passed on October 7, 2022 at the age of 79.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henri Doucet and the late Mary Ethel Boucher.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Dorina Lavigne. One son, Danny (Karen) whom he loved very much. Two step-grandchildren: Chelsea and MacKenzie, five step-grandchildren all of St. Zotique, Quebec.

One sister, Claudette Smith (Jimmy) and four brothers: Jean-Claude (Charlotte), Ronald (Connie), Sylvio (Linda) and Gilbert (Denise) all of Bathurst.

He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Jeanne Pitre, whom he loved as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral service will be held in St. Zotique, Quebec on Thursday October 13, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the ALS Society.
