Big River - Wesley Branch, husband of the late Pearl Branch passed away Thursday, October 27th, 2022 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 90.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lee and Lillian (Jennings) Branch.

He is survived by his daughter Cathy (André) Frenette of Big River; two sons: Kevin (Pat) of Nepisiguit Falls and Jonathan.

Four grandchildren: Jansen, Dane, Aaron and Johna Lee. Four great grandchildren, Jacob, Jordyn, Paisleigh and Westlyn.

He leaves behind his brothers: Harry and George (Barbara) both of Big River; sisters: Alma (Patrick) Pitre and Edith Doucet both of Bathurst, along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by one son, Hugh as well as his brothers: Tracy, Beverly, Ian and James and sisters: Loretta, Robina, Sheila and Isabel.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4th, 2022 from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com).

The family would like to express thanks to Terry, Thérèse Black for the love and support throughout the years.
