Bathurst – Mrs. Isella Legacy, wife of the late Edgar Legacy, formerly of Packard St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes, at the age of 80.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alfreda (Couture) Huard.

She is survived by a son, Richard Legacy of Bathurst. Three daughters: Doreen Legacy of Bathurst, Carole Jacques (Dean) of Miramichi and Donna Legacy (Kevin) of Sormany.

Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Two brothers: Albert Huard (Victoria) and Alfred Huard (Yvette) both of Bathurst. Two sisters: Rose-Marie Couture (George) and Rosanne Holmes both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Léonard, Pierre, Steven and a sister, Thérèse Legacy.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst.
