It is with profound sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Karolyn Lee Pitre, beloved daughter of Janet Cecile (Picot) and Joseph Gerald Pitre of Bathurst, which occurred accidentally December 27, 2022, at the age of 38.

Born in Bathurst, NB, she was the loving sister of Allan (Lauren) Pitre of Mississauga, Shannon (Brian) Lavigne of Bathurst and Jeremy (Amanda) Pitre also of Bathurst.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Karolyn is survived by her cherished furry companion, Sadie, and her nieces and nephews, Rileigh, Liam, Colby, Brandon, Carmelita, and Cadence.

She is further survived by several aunts and uncles who loved and supported her throughout her life, cousins, and countless friends.

Karolyn will be remembered for her huge heart, her love of animals, the great outdoors, music and above all her ability to see the best in everyone she met, whether young or old. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her unconditionally and always offered her a soft place to land.

Though there will be no formal funeral service, a private celebration of Karolyn’s life will be held at a later date.
