1938 – 2023

Miramichi Road, NB – Mrs. Yvonne Peters, wife of the late George Peters, formerly of Miramichi Road, passed away on Sunday January 15, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 84.

Born in South Tetagouche, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family to the late James and Celina (Legacy) Daigle.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Brennan (Vaughan) and Jean Coombs (late Garnet) both of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren: Shauna, Blake, Amanda, Stacey and four great-grandchildren.

Many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Leonard and a sister, Leona Henry.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Yvonne may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
