Barbara Sealy passed away peacefully on Jan. 20th at Miramichi Regional Hospital. She was 79 years old and lived fully surrounded by family and friends until her final moments.

Born in Bathurst Barb was the daughter of the late Sinclair and Ellen Ramsay.

Barb is survived by her husband Elmer Sealy, with whom she created a home in Bathurst with then moving to the Miramichi in 2003. Barb is also survived by her brother Vern Ramsay (Marie) of Sudbury, ON, her daughter Cheryl Butler (Kevin) of Riverview, NB and son Michael Sealy (Nicole) Bucksport, Maine.

Grand children Liam Butler (Rebecca), Kacie Sealy, and Alyssa Sealy.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by brother Ken Ramsay and sister Rella Trevors.

When Barb was feeling well, she enjoyed Camping, Reading, Spending time with her 3 grand children and also attending church functions.

At Barb’s request there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at 11 a.m. at The Point Church in Bathurst.

The family would like to thank the doctors and Nurses of the Miramichi Regional Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital that cared for her.
