It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Lillian Peter Paul, wife of the late Norman Peter Paul which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes on Monday, February 6th, 2023 at the age of 93.

Originally from Eel River Bar, she was a member of the Pabineau First Nation community.

She was the daughter of the late Charles LaBillois and Roseann Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Pearl Pelletier of Dalhousie and stepchildren: Carl Peter Paul, Norman Jr., Virginia Peter Paul, Judy Peter Paul (Clinton) and Sandra DesRoches (Yvon) all of Pabineau First Nation.

Grandchildren: Tracy Gray (Leonard) of Bathurst and Annette Julien of Dalhousie and one great-grandson, Lucas Julien.

Several step-grandchildren, step-greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, David McBain, grandson, Bryan Julian, a brother, Wilfred and a sister, Mary.

Lillian loved to travel, take photos, play cards, shopping and knitting in all her communities.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhattonn.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
