Bathurst – It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Raymond Babin, husband of Irene “Lulu” (Dunn) Babin of South Bathurst, which occurred on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 75.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Ernest and Geraldine (Young) Babin.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two sons: Charlie Babin of Mackenzie BC., and Robbie Babin (Erica Lavigne) of Bathurst. One granddaughter, Emily Babin.

Three sisters: Doris (late Melvin) McCreavy, Lorraine Bannerman and Sandra (Gerry) Comeau as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by six sisters: Evelyn, Merl, Mary Jane “Timmy”, Muriel "Lol", Elaine, Shirley, one brother, Ernest, one brother-in-law Alvin LeCouter.

As per his wishes a celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date.
