With heavy hearts we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved father Glendon Branch, of Big River, NB which occurred peacefully at his home on November 3, 2023 at the age of 85.

Born and raised in Big River, he was the son of the late Donald and Ruth (Moore) Branch.

Married in 1958, he leaves to mourn the love of his life, Clothilda (Hebert) Branch.

He is survived by brother Gary (Elizabeth) and sons Vernon (Ann) and Dale of Bathurst, NB and daughter Ruth (Jeff) Boucher of Fredericton, NB. He also leaves to mourn 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Matheson (Jessica), Patrick, Tristan and Kamie (Kymris) and 3 great-grandchildren: Juniper, Ayda and Jack who always brought a smile to his face when hearing their names.  Daughter-in-law, Ginette Emond of Stewiacke, NS. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson Codey, and brothers Norman, Donnie, and Harold.

Dad was a proud private man who was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Hard work was important to him starting at an early age at a local farm and at the former Brunswick Mines until his retirement. A great joy to him was tending his land in Big River, planting his annual garden and instilling in his family a love and respect of nature.

Those who knew him recognized that he was a kind and caring person who always had a ready hand to help. A ‘gentle giant’, Dad always exhibited a quiet, steady strength on the outside with a strong love of home and family in his heart.
