Bathurst - Edouard Berthelot, 78, of Bathurst, died at his residence on Friday (3 November, 2006). Born in Balmoral, he was the son of late Arthur and Emma (Lapointe) Berthelot. He worked as an orderly at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for most of his life. For many years he was in involved with in his parish activities and was a 3rd Degree member of the Notre Dame du Rosaire Knight of Columbus, Council #12215, Bathurst. He is survived by his wife, Irène (LeBlanc) Berthelot. Two daughters: Rolande Allain (Raymond) of Beresford Lise Berthelot (Yvon Lanteigne) of Beresford Three sons: Claude Berthelot (Gisèle Girard) of Ste Foy, Que. Eugêne Berthelot (Colette Rioux) of Petit-Rocher Gilles Berthelot (Nanette) of Bathurst Two brothers: Benoit Berthelot of Balmoral, NB Johnny Berthelot of Alberta One sisters: Dola Berthelot of Charlesbourg, Que. Three grandchildren, several nieces and nephew. He was pre-deceased by a son, Donald, in 2002. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (9 November, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
