Gerald "Gerry" Belanger, 56, of Gloucester Junction, NB, passed away on Monday (January 8, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Alfred and Viola (Gray) Belanger. He worked as a miner for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Cathey (Provincial) Belanger Three sons: Gerry Jr. (Carolyn) of Sault Ste Marie, ON Kevin and Steven both of Manitouwadge, ON One grandson; Jonah. Eight brothers: William (Carmelle), Stephen (Sheila), Allan (Mariette) and Robert (Anne), all of Bathurst Alfred Jr. (Joanne) of Sudbury, ON David (Mireille) of Caraquet, NB Paul (Shirley) of Alberta Todd (Sylvie) of Red Deer, AB One sister: Darlene Belanger (Adelard Duguay) of Nigadoo, NB Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (January 10, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Greg Culligan officiating.
